ONCE UPON A TIME ...

Throughout my youth, I believed, (like many of us boomers) Marijuana was a recreational substance (totally illegal) that one would smoke, get high, listen to music, get the munchies and go to  bed!

Sometime, during the late seventies/early eighties, I was AMAZED to learn about the numerous properties marijuana (Cannabis) had to offer: from industrial use for rope, fibre, paper and the like; clothing, fuel, food binding agents and most importantly for its Medicinal Value.

I made a mental note, to one day market this wonderful plant, if the laws were ever to change. Well the laws did change in 1998, where it became legal, under Federal Regulation, to cultivate and distribute low THC (delta 9 tetra-hydrocannaboid) THC is the component that makes one feel euphoric.

In 2001, I created a company called HempWorks and began marketing a selection of Hemp toiletries for a Nova Scotia company. One of their products was a Hemp capsule. The bottle had to be refriderated and the colour was cloudy. I imagined a Cannabis capsule, vibrant in colour, that required no refrideration. A capsule derived from the HIGHEST grade of MEDICINAL CANNABIS, available under Canadian law. Hence came the creation of Med Marijuana Cannabis Sativa Seed Pressings, Medi-Paws and Medi-Hooff's. New additions to our family will be coming soon and we WILL continue our PAWSITIVE growth.
